PWP and Villager Personalities

I just found out that in order to get certain PWP they need to be requested by certain personalities. A lot of the PWP I want must be requested by the normal personality. I do not really like anyone that has that personality. My question is how long does it take for a villager to request a PWP? I've never had someone request one in conversation, maybe they're moving out too fast or I don't talk to them enough? I just want to get some PWP done by villagers I'll be moving out later before I get all of my dreamies :]

When villagers get an exclamation mark and make the ping noise and run up to you, that's when they have a chance to suggest a PWP.

It's completely random though and there's nothing you can do to control whether they suggest a PWP or ask for a new catchphrase or whatever.

There is however a trick to manipulate how often they will "ping" you. But it's too long to write but you could probably find it online.

I used the method explained >>here<< to get myself PWP suggestions. I trapped my Normal villager by surrounding her with holes, and ignored anyone else, to ensure that I got the kinds of projects I wanted. The only time I didn't ignore is when it was someone that I wanted to move out, as they tell you when they're moving out with "pings" as well.

I can the pwp pings randomly. Somtimes weeks go by without pwp pings, so frustrating.
