I've been trying for the wig so much that I automatically see the game in my head when I close my eyes, and when I'm trying to fall asleep. It kinda seems like I'm joking, but I'm not. I was like this with 2048 too. Damn that stupid cute wig...
Well, Story Mode definitely have its own weird and sudden difficulty spikes, in form of stages that involve both strict time limit (2 minutes) and candies. Those are the stages I struggled for quite some time. Fortunately, I reached to the final stage, and I heard it's significantly easier than the one that came before.
And I guess dropping a few tips here wouldn't hurt to help those who have a hard time with the game.
Puzzle League is a fast-paced puzzle game that rewards you for thinking and acting fast. If you're too slow at it, your swift-thinking prowess obviously needs to be trained.
Can't seem to quickly spot which blocks to line up? Don't hesitate raising the stack of blocks! The idea might sound intimidating at first, but the risk is more often worth doing so, as it gives you more option for setting up a chain or more.
Did you just lined up at least 3 blocks straight? You don't really need to wait for those to disappear, as you can quickly get yourself to chain another set of blocks right away.
Keep in mind that the game will very briefly stop the automatic block spawning every time you form a chain. If you end up doing another chain before the first set blocks finishes disappearing, the game will count that as a second chain and extend the duration of the time stop period. The same happens when you perform a third chain and so on.
