Purple dream bell exchange ticket?

I;ve gotten some purple dream bell exchange tickets. Does anyone know what to do with them?

yeah. I mean it makes sense... it is called, "dream BELL EXCHANGE ticket" so it would be logical for them to function similar to the Bell Vouchers one can buy from the Nook Miles Terminal in Resident Services.

Yeah. It would have been better if they had Luna explain the ticket to you. Sorta like how Label explains the Tailor's Tickets (even tho she mails you the tickets)... Luna should have done the same thing after you upload/update your island's dream. That way there would have been less confusion

Remember how in NL, Luna would give you 5'000 bells everytime you updated your dream town? The tickets are likely a replacement for that, since Luna isn't here in person to give you the bells.

I’ve heard people say you might be able to trade them for special items in the future but not sure if that’s just a baseless rumour or not. I’m going to be saving them instead of selling them anyway, just in case.

I, too, was disappointed when I found out that all you can do with them is sell them for 5,000 bells. “Ticket” to me means that you use the ticket in exchange for a product or service. Not just to get bells. It wouldn’t been cool if we could save up the tickets and use them to buy items from Luna. But oh well I guess...

Weird, pretty sure I got 20,000 when I sold mine.
