Ok so I think the campsite might look nice in my town...the problem is that I’m super picky ...and I might not like it afterwards. I thought the trellis would look very nice on this spot and then when I built it I hated it. So I want to build the tent but if I hate it...I want it destroyed.


So my question is this... can I load the game at 5:55 am and build the tent and then just wait until 6 am when the town resets and if I hate it turn off the game without saving...or does it automatically save at 6 am? I don’t remember.

You can't save, as once you commission a PWP it WILL be built.

When 6.00 AM comes around, it's permanent.
Whatever is in your town will still be there even if you turn off without saving.

BTW. When the campsite is empty, it is UGLY.

The tent and igloo both look great though!

I think the game saves as soon as it reaches 6am, so I don't think that would work, unfortunately.

Yeah, I mean you can still cancel a commission as long as it's in the building (gyroid) stage (you just won't get any donations back), but the problem again is that the game saves at 6 am, unfortunately.

Even if you were to try the plot-resetting trick and create a new character (a thought that crossed my mind) to check out your campsite, I still don't think it would work, since fully funding a project makes it un-removeable.

But I think a campsite would look nice, given what you've said about your town.

Unfortunately, there's no way you can destroy your campsite after you have paid for it, because the game actually automatically saves at 6am. :/

Something I like to do when I can't decide on a spot for a pwp is I landscape the area as if it is already there, and then when Isabelle shows me a preview of it I can decide if I want to go ahead and build it there. Helps a lot to see the finished product before I even build it! Maybe you could try that? Kinda landscape how you'd like it to look and then she will show you the preview so you can decide then if you want to keep it.
