PSA: You can get someone to craft again when someone leaves quietly

I’m part of a chat group and someone had Sherb crafting. When we were going to get the recipe, someone left quietly and he stopped. Someone else in the group suggested that the host go into sleep mode to kick everyone out and exit the game and relaunch. This should revert it to the state where the villager is still crafting. The host did it and voila, Sherb is crafting again.

This is helpful, thanks for sharing. I always assumed the host had to TT backwards to get the villager crafting again.

I one time had Dobie start crafting again randomly after someone left quietly (like an hour or so later). I don't think I time travelled, and I'm not sure if this was normal.

Yesterday my friend had an error so she left quietly and then I saved and quit then restarted the game and the villager went back to crafting so it seems works
