I crafted some "plain wooden shop signs" and then customized them with a design I made. When my visitor arrived, I was able to drop non-customized items, however, my 5 customized signs were not 'droppable.' (No, I wasn't trying to 'place' them. Drop them.) Should this have been obvious? Oh well.
I dropped the non-customized signs and then gave them my Designer Code/ID so they could still use the desired design; save yourself some time/work down the line and be prepared to do the same! ;>
