PS2 graphics were the worst in last gen

Many people seem to think that the PS2 graphics were better than the GameCubes.

The GameCube has a higer GPU than the PS2, so a lot of games on the GameCube had better graphics than PS2 games.

And it's sad that developers are making PS2-quality games on Wii... When will they learn that the Wii can do better than that?!

Agreed. Games like Super Mario Galaxy and Brawl have good graphics. But it's still not enough to match the graphics on PS3 and 360.

The Wii's GPU is around 240-250 MHz
While the PS3 is 550 MHz
And 360 has 500 MHz

In order for Wii to ever have graphics good as 360 PS3 it needs higher GPU.

The power of the actual card doesn't matter.

It's how effective companies can make games that take full use of the card.

For example, the PS3's may appear to be the most powerful, but between it and the 360, the 360's is better because developers can use the card to its full capacity.

Well this was not taken advantage so therefor made peple think otherwise.. But the xbox was capable of sooo much more then anything put on it!

Technically Dreamcast was last generation too. Which had a 100mhz GPU and 200mhz CPU.

Like Battlefront 2. The PS3 has awesome graphics. But the PS2's could be "meh" at times.

I have seen several games come out that on the PS3 that look better then the 360's. But yes, they don't know how to use the PS3s power yet... 360 has been out a little while longer so thats why its still better in the graphic department.
