How long does it usually take for a villager to reset to their default clothes/catchphrase after you talk to Isabelle? I'm trying to change a villager's catchphrase but It's not working. I've done it five times.

I don't think complaining about their clothes works unless they are wearing a custom design. I complained about Kyle's hideous grape tank and time traveled 5 days forward and nothing

Nop it works. Not sure for you but I complained for Bunnie and immediately she wore something even more hideous *cries* but you can also force her by sending 3-5 same shirt at once and he mostly will change into~
