I've been wanting a soccer (football) for Wii for a while and finally got a chance to play Pro Evo 08 at a friend's house... and it was really good... so I went ahead and got it on ebay... I should have it in a week or 2. Just wondering if anyone else has PES08 to play online then?

I've acaully never heard of it, but it sounds fun.

Soccer is acaully one of my favorite sports.

While on the topic of fun Soccer games, you should try Sega Soccer Slam for Gamecube. Great game for beating the living crap out of each other while at the same time enjoying Soccer.

I've actually played it before... and yeah... it was the original "Mario Strikers, basically... it was a lot of fun to play multiplayer though. :)

But Pro Evo is a lot more realistic ;)

And I got it new for about 10 bucks

I prefer Fifa to Pro Evo, Fifa has better controls imo.
When you get the game be good a team and not Chelsea :P xD

I've always been a FIFA guy, too... until the Wii versions came out. My newest soccer game is Fifa 06 for Gamecube, and when playing the games on Gamecube/PS2, I always thought FIFA was better than PES...

But after playing PES on Wii... and hearing about FIFA's "All-Play" (a.k.a. "swing the remote to shoot; swing the remote to pass; swing the remote to clear; swing the remote to dribble... you get the idea) I just couldn't waste 30 bucks on FIFA for Wii... the franchise/manager mode is still a lot better on FIFA, but the gameplay of PES with Wii controls is superior... so I had to get it.

And Chelsea is my team no matter which game :P

Realistic? D=

I'm a big fan of soccer (heck, I play it myself in highschool) but the realistic games never seem to hook me =/
I had Fifa 08 (07?) for Wii, and it seemed repetitive :r

My last Fifa was 07 for GC.
A couple months ago I bought Fifa 09 for Wii and I hated, got a refund the same day.
I don't think EA sports are doing the All-Play thing anymore, because on the other EA sports games none of them are all play so I might consider renting Fifa 10.

Ok Chelsea might be your team but Arsenal will always be superior :P

Pro evolution soccer 03 was amazingly fun, me and my friends from 8 until 1 o clock in the morning about a week ago. The only soccer games ive played lately are super mario strykers and Fifa 08. And now im off to go to a soccer camp.

Arsenal barely qualified for Champions League for this season :P Chelsea was one garbage referee away from the final for a 2nd year in a row.

And that'd be awesome if EA really stopped with the all-play.
