I've only gotten like 5 or 6 badges atm, all bronze 1 silver T.T It seems to be so hard to collect them tbh..Then again I did just start the game a month ago hahaha. But! If you need any help collecting badges that requires another person, I'm willing to help!
I'm still working on getting all of the gold badges. I'm only really focused on completing them with my mayor in my main town, though. While I'm happy to receive badges on any of my characters, I consider those bonuses. There's no way I have the patience to work on some of the more tedious ones multiple times. LOL
Right now, I only have two badges left to complete. I am currently at silver on the Bellionaire badge. I have almost 50,000,000 bells in the ABD, so sadly that means I'm only halfway there. I am willing to combine all the money I've earned on all my characters to reach the goal, though. For now, I'm leaving the money spread across characters to earn the most in interest.
The second badge that I really need to work on is the Dreamer badge. When I first started landscaping, I visited a lot of dream towns for inspiration, but it's been a while since I've felt motivated to do much dreaming. I currently have the bronze badge and I have no idea how close I am to silver since I don't know of a way to track it. I need to get to work on this one, though, before they shut down servers and I lose the ability to complete it.

I recently got my Master Turnip Badge. I am currently working towards completing my town but I should really get the gold badges done for online services before the servers are down permanently! 
The other two golden badges I have are Tycoon Bell Saver and Catalog Maniac Gold. The one badge that I will never get to gold is the HHA badge because I just want to design my house the way it is

My problem with the dreamer badge is that I can't bring myself to just spam it. I feel a desire to explore each town I visit through the Dream Suite, talk to every villager, check out every house. That's why it takes me so long. I spend anywhere from 20-40 mins in each town. I need to just let go of that hang up.
For the gold HHA badge, I always work on that first. Since I'm still expanding my house and collecting furniture, I just toss any completed sets in a room until I get the gold badge. By then, I've usually got a decent enough catalog to start designing my house the way I want.
I got the streetpass badge, visiting and hosting badges by using my two 3DS's and my husband's 3DS. It still took a long time for the streetpass one because I could only streetpass each town once or twice a day, but I eventually got there.

Yep, I play the character daily. I trade in the Re-Tail forum which is one ways the game stays fun for me.

i guess i'll start paying attention to the "little things" in acnl after i get all badges. playing rn is sometimes stressful, since i have to always maintain many badge grinds; visiting and hosting, fishing and bug-catching, refurbishing etc...
