Politoed or Poliwrath?

Who is in your team now if you already have a fighting type I don't see why you need anther one.

Poliwrath.

His Attack and Defense are low at the start, but if you put some EV's in there, he'll get to be a very good Pokemon.

Try to get one with the "Water Absorb" ability.

Politoed.

Most of the moves he's weak to are Special, and he has a higher Special Defense compared to Poliwrath. Plus he learns Perish Song which earns him sexy points.
