It actually isn't apparently been in the game since Gold and silver....
apparently it lasts 24 hours.... unless you put a pokemon in the box then it can keep it forever... once a pokemon has it once and loses it it becomes immune.... so I am getting some useless pokemon to gain it and sticking them in the box. If I want I could get it to people but I would like good deals for it.... :evillaugh:
You can tell your guy has it by both the nurse saying something about it the first time and a little purple thing under status in the summary that says pkrs, it is a dot when they are immune...
Its effect is basically like the macho brace but training with it and the macho brace makes getting max points easy.... :lol:

now it does say that firered and lg don't have a way to have you lose the pokerus, but it cannot be spread in that game, however you can trade a guy with it from R/S/E to get it so they might not have a clock but R/S/E do

I got that in my Ruby game a while back. I was on a car trip, so I didn't really know what it was about. Yay for Pokerus!
Apparently it is good... but your guys still get immunity to it which stinks....
Nurse Joy just says something like,
it seems your pokemon have been infected with the pokerus, don't worry though it is actually a beneficial disease... which is weird
