Pokemon X and Y - Should I also buy Y?

Hello TBTers! I Love all Pokemon games and have many myself. I have already played through X completely and absolutely loved it! I am now just working completing my Pokedex (I'm at 400 something so far). Anyways with that said, I'm thinking about buying Y as well. I was so excited by X that I rushed the storyline, and I wish I had gone through it more slowly. I also like the idea of playing through it as a guy for a change (I know I'm an odd duck). Now, I know most of you would just say "Why not just restart X?" Well, first I don't have the heart to reset it, and second I'm sill using it to complete the pokedex/find shinies.

It's my birthday next week, so I will probably buy an eShop card to get Pokebank up and running again, I'm just debating on how much I should get, as I could get Y as well.

What do you guys think? Is it worth it, or should I just not bother? Some might say I could just wait for the next rumoured game Z, but I start University by then, and am planning on cutting back big time on games I play. Y would just be for over the summer gaming.

It's your choice, really. If you plan on playing it over and over, it's a good investment. If you play through it just once again, you might get bored.

There really is no difference between the games. To me, the only benefit of having both is just for training.

No in my opinion. I bought both and I basically never got to play y. Also X is way bada**.
