Pokémon Pokemon Trading Help

I am going to give black 2 to my little sister to play, but first i want to transfer some of my pokemon to Soulsilver. I entered the Union room in both games but I can't trade?

Because they aren't connectible... it does say that in the manual.

Soul silver can only send to black 2 via the capture game thing and black 2 can only trade with blackwhite/2

you can send them to xy using pokebank.
