So I recently got a 3DS for ACNL. That's the only game I have. I kinda want Pok?mon, but I've never played it before nor have I ever had any interest. But lately, I've wanted to try it out and see for myself if I like it.
If I could get a used copy, I probably will. I can clear the previous data, right?
If not or if I don't like it, I can just give it to my cousin.

So.. help me out? Also, which Pok?mon should I get?

Thanks!

You should definitely try it out to see if you like it or not. It's really fun and easy to get into, but still challenging in some areas at the same time. It also has a lot of replay value and other things to do besides the main storyline. If you don't like it, then just don't play it. But at least try it.

I started about a year ago with White. It was okay, but way too confusing and not too much fun.

I picked up X this weekend, and it's miles better. The 3D graphics make the game so much more alive than previous versions. I'd recommend it, but it may not be quite as rewarding as if you've been playing the series for a while.

I loved it since Blue though so I'm biased af. It's also kind of easy for veterans, but that means newbies like yourself could find it easier to get a hang of things.

Yes, you can clear previous data. I believe it's done by holding a, b, x, and y while the game is loading.

I'd say Pokemon X or Y. It has more charm than White/Black or White2/Black2, which together made up the last generation of Pokemon games. Also, the graphics have been greatly improved, so it's just more pleasing to look at as well.

Which one of those you get just depends on which version exclusives you want to have easy access/be able to catch in your own game. I'd just take a look at the link that was posted and google the various Pokemon to see their designs better.

You can get Pokemon X or Y. The graphics are a lot different than previous games, you get to customize your character, and there's a bigger selection of Pokemon to choose from. I think these versions are more... friendly than previous games.

I was also in your shoes, but in terms of ACNL. And look, here I am! :>
