MAY gives me the ITEMFINDER.
What an original name.
She then rides off on a BIKE--wait, where did she get it?--that she grabs out of her BAG, and then she's on it. Like, no motion in between the two actions. She just grabs it out, and she is on it.
I decide to use it.
No response.
I start to question if this even works, but I decide that I need to get off the ROUTE as soon as possible.
I have two options: Go back to SLATEPORT via Wally's TELEPORT, or continue north and heal at MAUVILLE.
I choose the latter, even though it is most likely not the better.
I find a GREAT BALL on the ground.
My eyesight works better than the ITEMFINDER.
I continue to question the ITEMFINDER's performance as I go north.
The music in my head changes when I step in front of this guy.
NO NOT HERE WHY NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
Okay then.
It uses NATURE POWER, which turns into SWIFT.
I retaliate with NIGHT SHADE.
It then ABSORBs a little bit of Diamond's health.
I use another ORAN BERRY on Diamond.
It uses ASTONISH.
I order Diamond to finish it off with a NIGHT SHADE.
Diamond levels up to LEVEL 18.
Ugh...

The NUZLEAF used HARDEN, GROWTH, then HARDEN.
I have Wally use TELEPORT. I go back to SLATEPORT.
I heal my POKéMON, and then head back north.
IT'S ANOTHER CUTE THING
I throw a GREAT BALL at it, and end up catching it.
I name it Hatsune for some odd reason, and then it gets sent to SOMEONE's PC, right where Kairi resides.
I find a POKé BALL on the ground--with my ITEMFINDER, which actually works--and then continue on.
I head into MAUVILLE CITY.
This guy talks about TVs too much. And I mean way too much.
I talk to him three times over and all he says is anything about TV.
I see RYDEL's BICYCLE SHOP. and decide to head in.
He looks at me as if I'm crazy. I look at him as if I'm maniacal.
He gives me an option of two BIKES--the MACH BIKE, or the ACRO BIKE. One for technology, and one for speed.
I choose the MACH BIKE.
I put it into my BAG.
Even if it isn't possible.
I REGISTER the MACH BIKE to the SELECT BUTTON. (breakin' the fourth wall)
I get on it when I get out of the SHOP, and the best part is? The moment I take it out of my BACKPACK, I'm on it. Crazy, right? Just like what happened with MAY back there.
WALLY is in front of the MAUVILLE GYM.
Oh, now I get to teach him his lesson.
Before I challenge him, I let A get to the front of my PARTY.
He actually challenges me when I talk to him, however, and so we get into a battle.
Needless to really say, I won against his RALTS with no real problem.
WALLY and his UNCLE walk away west, thus leaving the GYM unbarred.
Good. Now I can head in.

Should I get Kairi and Hatsune out of the PC to train?
I know that Plusle and Minun aren't exactly the two best Pokémon, but I have done a Platinum run with a Minun on my team.
So should I?
And, only 10 more days until Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire come out here in North America!
