Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Help.

So,i recently started a new game on my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon:Explorers of Darkness,and I'm stuck on the part where u vs the gang of Luxios and the Luxray.I always seem to be dying :/,so i was wondering if anybody has any tips on how to beat them?
My Team right now is Pikachu(me),and Mudkip,both around lvl 20.So if anybody knows some ways to beat em,i would appreciate it.

Go recruit a Numel from Steam Cave, or a Gastrodon from Craggy Coast and raise it up a lot.

Get a Ground type poke'mon.

Just uber up your pokemon. Trust me, there's really no other way out of it. You can't play as other pokemon yet, so just uber up your team.

Try recruiting a Electrike. That's what I did and I managed to survive. I had some Reviver Seeds too though.

can't u only use 1 reviver seed per dungeon/boss?

No just have so many you want in your bag and you will be revived when you die.

o,ok thanks,i never knew that,now i can always revive my parter,why is it that when he dies u have to die with them D:<

Vacuum Wave and Sleep seeds make the fight laughably easy. Put Luxray to sleep, then the Luxio all faint in 3 or 4 Vacuum Waves, then finish off Luxray. Vacuum Wave isn't that rare of a TM either and most starters can learn it.

i think i've tryed sleep seeds on it and it doesn't work

As said before, level up your Pokemon a lot and find a bunch of reviver seeds. I was stuck at this battle for a little while too, and that's basically what I did to beat it.
