I didn't feel like looking for the Pokemon Conquest thread, if there is one, so forgive me.
I just got this game for Christmas and it confuses me on a number of levels but what I need to know is when the Warlord "evolves" is it permanent? Like if I beat an episode and move on to another, would said Warlord stay in his new form or will they revert back to their original form? I need to know before I grind my life away.
When your warlord evolves its permanent until you complete the story.
Once you complete the story, you have the option to go back to just before you completed it, or start a new story. If you chose start a new story your current data will be erased and you can start a new story/episode as a different warlord, all warlords reset to level 1..
Idk I suck at explaining.
Also even though you lose your data when you start a new story, all warlords you friended in the past episodes generally keep their current Pokemon.
What's the girl who has Jigglypuff (Oichi?) - well in the first episode where you have to get Arceus blh blah blah she has Jigglypuff, if you, say, replace her Jigglypuff with a Cubchoo (are they even in the game? idk lets say they are for this purpose). so you start using Oichi with Cubchoo as her main Pokemon instead of Jigglypuff. When you complete the Arceus story and chose to reset your data and start a new story. Say you chose the fire guy's (Hideyoshi?) story.. You'll start off with him and chimchar and eventually when you come to befriend Oichi she'll also have the Cubchoo along with her Jigglypuff, so when you reset the warlords generally keep their Pokemon
