Alright, so I have gotten all the pokemon games from Ruby and later, but I have stopped after finishing pokemon White. I am going to receive Pokemon Black 2 in the mail around Monday, and would like to have thoughts on my team I have planned out. (I made sure it is at least possible to get the pokemon in Pokemon Black 2, however, I may trade over some because I cant get two I believe until the 6th gym badge or so, which is very late.) I am going to list the team with the pokemon in their final forms.

Samurott

Haxorus

Elektross

Crobat

Arcanine

Roserade

Any thoughts or advice on how to make the team better, and which pokemon to switch out would be nice... Thanks.

I've never really been a fan of Roserade

My grass type is always whimsicott, very fast leecher and you could pair it with toxic

An Ice/Water pokemon could pretty much sweep almost all of your team. I think you should switch out some of the pokemon. Try not to use so many poison types, because the second gym is poison.

Alright... I see what you guys mean. How about this?

Emboar

Elektross

Whimsicott (this was the next pokemon I was considering for grass, if I didn't pick snivy as a starter, which I did on white and dont want to do again)

Crobat

Floatzel

Stoutland

Thoughts?

Do you have their movesets?

No, I usually do the moves as I go through the game. I do usually make sure they can at least learn decent moves though. What types of moves should Whimsicott know? I never really got too into Gen 5 but I am getting the hang of it...

The final moveset you have for it should probably look something like this:

Trained in Special Attack.

Hurricane (To counter Bug Types)
Solarbeam/Mega Drain
Sunny Day (If it doesn't have the hidden ability chlorophyll)/Shadow Ball (If it does)
Psychic (To counter Poison Types)

I know that Psychic and Hurricane are must-haves for this pokemon, especially since you'll be facing a lot of bug/poison dual type pokemon, and just plain poison and bug type pokemon.

Example: Gym Leaders Roxie and Burgh (If you don't have Psychic and Hurricane they present a massive roadblock for Whimsiscott)

EDIT: Obviously, I forgot this, but since you obviously probably will not be able to have both Hurricane and Psychic before you face them, Gust and Dream Eater are good substitutes.

you should give your crobat a quick claw because it already is super fast so that will boost it I did that in a soul silver nuzlocke and the thing never died
