One of the first apps available at the eShop launch will let users view more than 150 Pok?mon in 3D.

Pok?dex 3D, featuring all of the new Pok?mon from the recent Pok?mon Black and White games, will allow users to look up information about more than 150 Pok?mon and their moves, all for free. It will make use of SpotPass and Augmented Reality.

Players start with 16 Pok?mon and can unlock the remaining Pok?dex entries by scanning QR Codes, using SpotPass (up to three random Pok?mon a day), or by trading data with friends, likely via StreetPass.

Users will be able to view each Pok?mon in 3D, and rotate them a full 360 degrees. The Pok?dex features filters and bookmarking capabilities as well.

The app will use the 3DS' built-in Augmented Reality capabilities to display Pok?mon in pictures taken via the 3DS Camera.

So we get this, and Excitebike 3D for free? Sounds great.

I want to say something, but it's too sexual and Jeremy will get mad at me again. But this is pretty good :)

i think it might be time for me to buy a 3ds

all i need is a reconfirmation of MML3 being released on it, and i'm sold.

I'm sure Jer would let it slip once. <3

I've never tried any of the MML games. :/ Any good?
in my opinion, they are fantastic.
the first was probably my favorite, but 2 expands upon it in so many ways that i'm likely just having nostalgia.
i would recommend playing them on the playstation or playstation 3, as mega man 64 (n64 version of mega man legends) has not been played personally. mega man legends 2 is only on playstation, though (as far as i recall)
maybe they'll do a trilogy in the game? that'd be swell. c'mon, capcom..

Time to spam Capcom.

nintendo's definitely better than capcom.
nintendo has it's moments
but so does capcom
only real difference is the audience the companies appeal to.
nintendo makes fun, well-developed titles all of the time, even if the audience is more casual, fun, for kids, or hardcore, older, more mature (no more heroes)
capcom tends to appeal more to the mature audience, if not only seen in very demanding games like the street fighter series.
when compared to, say, brawl, input chains in street fighter are more of a staple of play, and are more refined and centered/at the forefront, when compared to niche techniques that the community finds in nintendo releases (such as wavedashing, among others)

i dunno. kinda like comparing apples to oranges. capcom has done a good job for a while, but as we've brought up somewhere else on the board, they've kinda mucked things up recently. bummer.
nintendo had a great, insanely good run until the gamecube turned people away for some reason. hopefully they get a second wind and ride last years e3 into this year's.

Well, I heard something along the lines of enough people getting the demo showing that people have intrest in the project will allow them to continue making it.
