Need a nintendo id and the seen that poke transfer won't work
Also 30pass trial!who's supid for a 30 pass trial and says its freee!?!

Erm.. it's FREE for 30 days from the day you download it, only THEN does the fee start. So yes, it FREE to use for a month. AKA a FREE month trial.

Like we haven't got Celebis. The fee thing tick me off, really. Like, all those transfer **** were free back in the day and.. Whoa! Game on 3DS? Let's make it freemium with this. Shtap abusing eshop. And yes I know you get trial.. buuut what if you need it later. BE fast? Yeah, still against it.

Yeah it kinda sucks. I'd rather use Pokemon Ranch and that stupid bow n' arrow game from 5th gen than Bank

Unfortunately with game development becoming so much more costly and piracy becoming far too easy freemium is the best platform for most companies to adopt. Today I'm getting Battlefield 4 premium, I'm not happy about it because I have to pay ?40 on top of the ?50 I paid for Battlefield, just so I can play more than a handful of maps as well as gain some weapons and so on.

This is the way gaming is going and no matter if we do or don't buy these fremium games/add ons they will always be there because some people will pay regardless. I never used to buy any of it but when all of my friends are playing on maps and trading things I can't it leaves me in a position where I don't have an option.

I've heard the next CoD game is going entirely Pay to Win.

Dude, don't EVEN joke about that, just wait, it'll probably come true.

I'm not mad at pokebank because of the fees, after all servers cost money to maintain and $5 a year is hardly a lot. But they way they've handled the whole rollout is just unacceptable. First it breaks, they take it down, with NO word, and it stays down, with NO word, for over a month! And they didn't even release an announcement when it came back!

It's like, Nintendo acted as if we wouldn't notice, or that they could slink by without even so much as an apology for their blatant failure. But no, they're too cocky to even give us that one tiny shred of decency. I hope Nintendo goes bankrupt. I really do.

This. Seriously, what game does Nintendo think they're playing? I'm really hoping they know we are the ones who make them possible, or else there will be no such thing as Nintendo by 2015.

I wasn't joking about that. It's either Battlefield or CoD that the entire next game is pay to win. You want the best gun in the game with all the upgrades for it? Just buy it.

Unfortunately, as long as they're cornering the market on young gamers; they aren't likely to go bankrupt any time soon[as much as they deserve to go bankrupt at this point.. at least Sony gives us some information].

I've heard that Nintendo's customer service is bad too.

It is DISMAL. I worked there for three years, and not only does their customer service suck, Nintendo treats their employees like garbage. Tech support, customer service and the game testers were all shoved into a glorified warehouse while the "worthwhile" employees were in a lavish, updated building across the street.

Not only that, but we were treated like prisoners: In at 7:00, break at ten, lunch at noon, break at 3, off at 5. Every day. If were were one minute late we got a strike. Three strikes, fired. No benefits, no HR, I eventually got fired because I was being sexually harassed by another tester, and when I reported it I was the one who got terminated.

Nintendo is a ****ing joke. They treat employees worse than EA, I swear.

EA treats people better than somebody else? Since when does this happen?

edit: out of curiosity... why didn't you take Nintendo to court if they fired you when you were the victim? (Mind you.. they'd probably just bribe the judge)

The way I viewed pokebank was that it was they purposely set it up for future installments; therefore, the biggest reason it has an annual fee, and requires a Nintendo Network ID, was so that you could, essentially, use the same ID tied to your pokebank in the future. Whether that is the true purpose, or that anyone would continue to even use their same ID across all their systems or even pay the fee until the next games' release, I honestly have no idea.

just my two cents~

Because Washington is an at-will state and they're a multi-million dollar corporation. :/

In all fairness Battlefield doesn't have this nor will it, they've established a DLC/premium service, they make all the money they need off of that without giving an easy win to anyone.

Battlefield isn't about who has the best gun because in all honesty it's more about who is best with them. I've killed many people using the standard starting carbine in a face to face stand off when they're using some of the "best guns" from the dlc. People do have some genuine reasons to complain but complaining about anything before it's happened just shows that people are so disgruntled that their judgement is not fair at all.

It's true that they should at least release statements. I think the way Nintendo are is largely down to the reputation they have had in the past where they could "do no wrong", however now people are starting to demand more and I think they don't yet realise how angry some people are with them.

Nintendo need to reach out and realise their fan base are starting to turn on them and a bunch of "sorry we messed up" gifts are not helping.

Sorry but as someone who knows many many people who work at EA Canada I can assure you that they love their job. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the devs at EA are passionate, love what they do but it's the higher job holders at EA that make decisions that restrict the quality they can put out as they budget and demand certain sales numbers or the next budget gets lowered.

And as a result, we get games like the Sim City that came out last year? Where it doesn't even work for the first month or so as they 'try' to fix it?

See this is what irritates me, people complain about the wrong people! Maxis made Sim City and Maxis is a subsidiary of EA. EA own Maxis but the development of the game is on Maxis, not EA as EA just act as the publisher. Furthermore Maxis is located in California in the United States, not Vancouver Canada.

For all the abuse EA get people seem to forget that every game that comes out these days is patched, even those from the most loved companies. EA get more abuse because they make the AAA titles and therefore more numbers play their games.

EA are not faultless but the devs are not the problem with EA, especially in Canada, the fault lies with the top positions whose jobs are purely to improve sales. So when a game is coming along nicely but not selling well enough the first change they make is to cut costs and maximise profits, something the devs have no control over but have to do as they are liable to be fired.
I'm sure there will be replies saying "well then they should leave EA and go elsewhere" but why should they? They do the best they can under thier management and love thier jobs, even if they are restrictive. Also who in their right mind would quit a well paid job and move to another city, uprooting thier family just because people are not 100 percent happy with a game for reasons they have no control over.

Some people just don't look at the bigger picture and for all the complaining about EA's games they are still some of the biggest and most consistent selling games which days a lot.

Can I express my annoyance with PokeBank? Transferring anything takes AGES because I get too many errors. I have to try over for countless times, seriously. Pokemon X seldom errors on me, but Bank/Transfer does all the damn time. I am losing my patience with this.

Remember that you're mainly paying the yearly fee towards having your own personal bank consistent of 3,000 spaces for your pokemon. It's not just a "Oh, so we see you want to transfer your pokemon? LET'S CHARGE YOU! - Nintendo" situation. The bank isn't temporary - it's long term. Who knows when it'll be replaced for forgotten about. Its main function is to let you store pokemon out of your game for a range of different reasons (security, in case you lose your game card, collecting or even just organizing your inventory of Pokemon.)

PokeBank = Will be around long enough so that I can bestow some of my pokemon onto my children.
PokeTransfer = free and has minimal use.
