Okay so I'm sort of new to the whole plotting thing. I mean, I plotted Julian's houses perfectly, but of course Merry decided to move in right in front of him and Cookie moved in right behind him. I wanted to plot their houses, but it didn't work. So my question is, when you TT to get someone to move in, how do you plot for them? Like I just TTed forward nearly two days with my mayor and then made a new file, but when I started the new file, Cookie's house plot was already in place and wouldn't move even after multiple attempts .-. So if I get a villager from someone on here and I want to plot their house, how do I do that? Do I have to actually wait two days or? Sorry if this is a stupid question ;w;

If you start the day as the mayor, then their plot won't move.
If you need to start a new day then I'd suggest using the ds clock instead of the in-game one.
But to plot reset just make a new character and go through the saving process with it if you like where their plot is at. If you don't, then just make new characters until you do.

Yeah, I know that. It's just like, when I tried resetting my DS clock, it sent it two months into the future in my game. Like my game is in September right now and my DS is in July so when I set my DS to September, it sent Animal Crossing to late November .-.

You can set the time in-game to shortly before 6:00 am the next day, since that's the game's "next day". Make sure to save and quit before 6:00 and then start a new character after it changes to 6:00.

What I do is this:
- you talk to the villager in boxes in someone else's town and invite them to your town.
- next day, login with your mayor at 5:55 am, quickly save and quit.
- same day, make a new save file character and run around looking for the plot. You might have to reset (without saving) and do it again before the plot arrives at 6am. Repeat till it's in an acceptable place and then save with your new save file character. Save/quit then demo your new save file character house.

Did you go back a day instead of forward? Because going back in time counts as one day forward. Otherwise plots don't show up until 6:00 am the next day.

Edit: Nevermind, I see that you TT'd two days forward. That's why. You have to go one day at a time.

So, the problem here is basically that you TT'ed two days ahead instead of one.
When you plot reset, you TT one day forward (since you've asked the villager to ask in the day before, they're plot will usually show up the day after) and change the time to 5:58AM, and wait two minutes. Or 5:55AM, and wait five minutes. That's up to you.

Since you TT'ed two days forward instead of one, her plot is now permanent and can't be changed.
