So... How many persons could confirm that plot resetting is still possible with either the regular method and also with an Amiibo card? I've read so many contradictions on this and I want to to be a 100% sure it still works, otherwise I won't waste my money on those Amiibo cards.

Most people claim that's it's impossible to do with Amiibo cards, and others say it's a bit harder, but still possible to do it.

Who says the truth? :')

:lemon:

Normal Resetting: I restarted last night and I remembered that you get a plot mover the next day. I reset about 15 times till I was happy getting Julian and he had picked a good spot. So Normal Resitting still works.

Ill be testing Amiibo resetting tomorrow morning for Wolf Link since he will be putting a plot up tomorrow.

Thank you very much! Good to hear for regular plots. :)

Anyone else?

Really glad to hear normal resetting works, since I have no plans on buying cards.

I plotted Teddy from a card. It was tedious and I thought it was broken because he kept picking the exact same spot for hours, but every now and then he'd pick a different spot. So it works with the cards, but it's obnoxious because it wants THIS ONE SPOT more than anything else.

Did you place him after kicking out another villager? Was Teddy trying to plot right where your kicked villager lived?

I kicked out Baabara and moved in Poppy. I didn't plot reset, because she picked a decent place first try, but the plot was nowhere near Baabara's. Just wanted to dispel the myth that amiibo villagers always try to plot where the kicked-out villager lived.

I'm plot resetting Diana right now from a card and for the last 13 times she's wanted to go in the exact same AWFUL spot. I'm kindof sad about it, they gave us this great update buuuuuuut there's always a catch :(

*update* she finally went somewhere else. So, incredibly annoying but it still works......eventually.

No, he had moved out months ago and I had an open spot in town because of him. The place he wanted to plot was nowhere even close to where his old home had been. If it had been in his old spot I would've been over the moon excited, but he wanted to plop down near a bridge on the other side of town.
