I've been moving in dreamies and plot resetting so they're all on the same side of the river. I only messed up on two of them, but they were still out of the way of where I want to build PWP. The other 5 villagers I plot reset for moved where I wanted them to after only two or three tries.
Not Stitches though. Oh no no no. HE has to be DIFFICULT! I've been doing this for an hour, non stop, and he STILL refuses to go on the correct side of the river! I know there are plots big enough for him, because I've had villagers move in there before. He just insists on ruining my gardens, paths, and PWPs. Ugh!
I'm sure other people have had similar experiences. Feel free to share/vent here.
It does take a while to get villagers into the correct plots. Sometimes plot resetting takes less than 5 minutes, because in 3 tries a villager is where I want them to be. Other times they seem to want to move everywhere but where you want them to live. I try not to plot reset for a long time continuously. Luckily, plot resetting has never taken more than around an hour for me. i don't have hours on end to dedicate to plot resetting.
Yeah, I kind of gave up. I moved him to the right side of the river, but too close to where I'm putting the cafe. I can still build the cafe, but I can't do the landscaping I wanted. I'll just have to come up with something new to make it look nice. But it's been nearly two hours of plot resetting, and I just didn't want to do it anymore.
I feel you. I took the entire day to plots reset nonstop for Sterling's house. Silly bird kept plotting everywhere else besides the two areas I wanted him to be. ;^; And I'm going through the same right now with Flora.
Don't hesitate to take a break every so often. Good luck!
I think I plot resetted Kidd for a week. I eventually gave up, and just let him plot wherever he wanted to. Usually when i'm plot resetting a villager for what seems like ages I eventually give up and just let them do what they want. Sometimes they won't go into the place you want them to go at all, no matter how many times you plot reset though so that might be it. I've had villagers who have moved out and nobody's gone in their spot since. It's a little weird, but I guess that's how the game works. Good luck on plot resetting Stitches though, all I can say is if you're still finding that you're spending ages on plot resetting him i'd just let him plot in a space that works for you. Hope this helped a little bit.
I was on for over an hour the other day to get Rudy in the right place. There was literally nowhere else for him to go without completely ruining my town in some way since it's near completion.
Then Molly yesterday took just half an hour.
I really dread plot resetting now and I'm thankful that I'm almost done with getting villagers
Been plotting Derwin for over a week. Granted, I've been working and sick so I'm only plotting an hour or 2 a day but this little booger won't go where I want him to!!!
