So I started a new town the other day. I have 6 villagers (Apple just moved in and hasn't unpacked yet). So I just started a new save file to plot for the newest random move in, but I've tried about 5 times and there has not been a house plot. Is that normal? I was postitive that a new villager plot shows up whenever the previous one has their house built but I can't really remember now. Has anyone else had this problem?

Ok. So on a day before 6Am before a villager is supposed to move in you plot scout. You cannot load your town using another file.
A villager may or may not move in at random if you have a vacancy.

I believe the plot consistently shows up every other day except for the 6th plot (which shows up the next day after starting a new town) and the 9th, which shows up two days after or up to one full week.
Like for example, if Apple's plot showed up on 01/08, the next plot will appear on 01/10, then the next on 01/12.
(I'm talking about random move-ins not when you scan the amiibo).
