Plot resetting help

Gabi just moved into my town and put her house plot right on top of my path and I absolutely hate it. I want to move her but I don't really know how to do plot resetting because this will be my first time doing it.

I would really appreciate it if someone can give me a step by step guide on how to do it.

Plot resetting only works if you haven't started up any existing characters yet.

You need a new character to check where your villager has placed their plot. If you like it, continue on with the tutorial until you can save and then just delete the new character.
If you dont like it, simply close the game and restart as a new character.

You can't plot reset her house now since you loaded the game with an existing character. The game auto-saves when you start with an established character. Sorry this happened, hopefully our advice will help you in the future.

Omg really there is nothing I can do? Ah I guess I just got bad luck. Thanks for both of your reply's though.
