So I got one of my dreamies yesterday and make sure she made her house in a decent spot I plot reset a few times. Only took me around 3 or so resets to get her house in a nice spot, not bad!

I thought everything was fine and dandy until I saw that the randomly generated gem rock was in the location I normally put my temporary character's house. An inconvenience yeah, but not that big of a deal right??

Wrong. The only place Nook would let me build was somewhere totally awful. Not only did it ruin my perfect grass, but it also removed one of my public work projects and uprooted a fruit tree.

Just needed to vent a bit. Anyone else have those days where resetting just doesn't go your way?

I don't plot reset. I want to, so villagers can't move in next to the town hall or next to any of the buildings. It just takes so much time, I'm usually very lucky when it comes to plots tho.

I've never heard of Nook getting rid of a PWP to land a tent. That's odd! I don't plot reset in the traditional sense. Those when Cyrano was moving in I knew from the log in screen I wouldn't be happy with his plot so I just closed the game down and reopened.

that's why u always should keep a shovel on your beach or something when you're plot resetting, it's super annoying otherwise )x

Well, if it's any consolation to you, at least the grass will eventually grow back. PWPs can always be rebuilt, and fruit trees can be regrown. c: I'm glad that it didn't take you very long to get your dreamie into a nice spot! It took me three days of plot resetting to get Chief where I wanted him.

Oooooh, or what about when you have 10 villagers, one move out and you TOTALLY did not expect a new one moving in the next day - considering only a day passed and you have 9 already! Happened to me so many times - Another reason why I'm letting all my cute villagers move out... so I can move new ones in at good spots ;u;

I just dont plot reset. its fun seeing where all the villagers make there homes. But i never herd of nook getting rid of a pwp.

It literally took me half a day to plot reset Eugene into a halfway-decent spot. He kept wanting to move right in front of the bridge next to my house!

I can totally feel you, as someone who rarely does plot resetting I know how frustrating it is, I tend to settle for the closest thing but these days I feel too lazy to even bother resetting until I fix my town up again and perhaps cycle my old dreamies back in oh gawd it'll take forever, in which case I may just plot reset when I finally do^^

I literally spent 10 hours nonstop plot resetting to get Kabuki exactly where I wanted him (I marked it with blank patterns) and almost every time he was SO CLOSE yet SO FAR AWAY

I plot reset in Mayglade, but back in the days of Oaks, I had no idea that you could (but to be fair when it came to AC I had the mind of a really clingy seven year old so I didn't even think of the Internet as a possibility) so I didn't. I still don't.

It's crazy how much it can vary. Second day in town I plot reset- took me two tries and I got Pashmina as a random move in in a fabulous spot.
Took me sixteen to get Boomer, about twenty for Kabuki, and about five for Pippy (or twenty for Pippy and five for Kabuki, I can't really remember).

I plot reset every time a new villager is expected to move in. I've been pretty lucky so far, and I've settled for some locations that are a little bit off of where I'd wanted, but still perfectly okay plots.

I didn't know you could uproot a public works project by placing your home down on it. I usually leave tools by the train station when that rock appears. But yea, plot resetting is such a pain. They keep on going on your flowers or in the middle of paths. Like can't you see what you're doing?! I swear, 99% of these animals dont have a brain that functions properly.
