Share Your Story, one of my fails was I didn't know you could plot reset a camper so I let Francine Mave in anywhere and she moved in front or behind my one and only bridge. But I let her stay for a Long time but I let her go in the end

I vaguely knew about plot resetting when I started my town, but I neglected to check with a new character. I loaded up my game and Boone moved in, right next to me and in front of a bridge. I was fine with it at the time, but now that I've got other bridges available, I want to demolish the original cobblestone one and build a brick one. Oh well.

I also forgot to save my new character when Rowan moved in. I was like "oh cool this a nice spot for him time to change to my mayor!" and quit without saving. He ended up moving next to me which is fine, but now there's a cluster of houses right in front of the Town Hall looking onto the river:

Just like in real life, river front houses seem to be prime property.

I invited Molly from the campsite with the intention of keeping her as a permanent resident. 2 days later I booted up the game with a new character but I couldn't find Molly's house plot anywhere. It happened to be the day a fishing tourney was held so I thought the event postponed her move in date.

I loaded the game with my regular Mayor and there was Molly's house plot right in front of Town Hall. I had planned to landscape that area so I eventually had to let her go

went back two days by mistake, she puts her plot

it's not an awful spot but too close from where i wanted erik's house

well now i gotta live with it because no way i'm cycling 16 villagers ever again

When I was new with plot resetting, I didnt read everything but just went with it. I had muffy as a camper and convinced her to move in. I knew this was the day so I made a new character and scoured the town for the roped in plot. I was surprised I found none so I decided to log-in with my alt character. I then saw her roped lot in a pretty decent location but not exactly where I wanted, so I tried to do the whole plot resetting and realized I cant because once a permanent character logs in then the plot is set.

The first and second (and hopefully last time) I screwed up plot resetting: A couple of months ago I was plot resetting Dizzy, and got distracted by Netflix and accidentally began to load my Mayor. As soon as I noticed my mistake, right as Isabelle started to say "Let's prepare your town" I turned off my DS. Unfortunately Dizzy's house was set, and it landed right next to Retail, blocking a bridge and ruining a natural paths and a huge chunk of the bushes and trees that lined it. I was gutted, Dizzy was a villager I'd wanted for ages. Luckily I always have two temporary villagers in town so I can meet new faces, so I moved them out to get Dizzy to ping and moved into my storage town (he's still living there happily and I visit him often). It took a whole day and evening to fix everything up again, and I got back up to 9 villagers and figured I could leave it for the night and pick up a 10th villager when a good opportunity came up in the near future. Right as I loaded my game for the last time that evening to check everything, I saw a new plot right in the middle of my garden and path...I'd picked up a voided villager from my storage town!! And it was Spork!! I was so freaking mad, I had to do the whole thing all over again the next day to sort my town out. Luckily Spork pinged to move pretty quickly, but I spent basically a whole weekend fixing my dumb mistakes! ><

Well, only one and it wasn't that bad. I forgot to plot reset for Chrissy the Rabbit and she moved in a decent spot next to the Re-Tail pond, however that's where I wanted to place my paths but what eve's.

I was plot resetting for Fuchsia for about 5 hours, and then accidentally loaded up my mayor.

So I had her move out and I cycled through again, after just doing it the day before as well.

When Muffy moved in thanks to StreetPass, she permanently destroyed my Lychee Forest. Now Frita lives there. And I was so angry at Muffy, I accidentally TT'd Rodney out. At least he's happily living in my new town. And that was in August.

I didn't know about plot resetting when I started, so one of my villagers plotted right where I wanted a bridge.

i had been plot resetting with mira and something went wrong i'm assuming. she was moving in at the start of the game so i kept plot resetting her until i eventually found a proper spot. well, after 2 cycles of resetting, she disappeared. no one ended up moving in that day at all and i'm still not sure what went wrong.
