Please help!

I got a secondhand DS. Everything was fine until I found it wasn't fully wiped. Okay, no problems. Until a system update was released. I go to the e-shop to make a Nintendo account, and it asks my for their password. I can't find a way to log out without signing in first, which I can't do. Can anyone help?

I have no idea how to help. All I can recommend is asking the original owner if you got it from them personally and not a secondhand store, or call some tech employees. Try googling for it...Also if you just want to do the update the DS should prompt you everytime you power it back on or try to start a certain game. It does that to me. Good luck.

I've managed to update it and the only way to get rid of that account is to wipe the DS myself, which means completely getting rid of my friendcodes and other things
