It was a few days ago when i was playing ACNL inside my house on my couch, I was playing with someone in the their town. I was behind a fly wire door which had wind blowing through it. Then the 3ds said on the game "Please close the window." It was a sliding warning like when the boat is about to depart on for a tour on Tortimer Island. I was very scared. How did the 3ds know there was wind blowing behind me?
The thing is i wasn't sitting behind a window. Has this happened to you?
I might be wrong but I think it meant close the game window... I haven’t done it in a while but I seem to remember that you do have to close your game for some reason when you take the train? Internet connectivity maybe? I hope so anyway because if not, that’s super weird.
Yep, I forgot about that but Darby is right. If someone is trying to visit or leave a town and you are in your inventory, storage, or a dialog window, the game will ask you to close the window so the other person can either enter or leave.
Wow this is the funniest coincidence ever! I believe it probably meant to close the window if you were talking to someone or had a pocket open but that is very funny. I have had a few occasions where animal crossing has managed to scare me right out of my skin for a second when it says things like that, that happen to be true in real life at the time. Would love to know if others have had coincidences like this as well!
This is more likely a coincidence. When the game said to close your window, it meant by closing your in-game menus since a player is entering/leaving your town. You had it opened when this was occuring so it's all normal. It happens too on Tortimer Island when you've got people hopping on islands.
This is just a normal thing when someone is leaving or entering a town or the island on Club Tortimer. I've had this happen a couple of times, but never when I was up in my room with the window open. This was very interesting.

I love when the villagers give you hints about the game buttons and they say ?what am I even talking about?? because they?re breaking the fourth wall hehe
