How do you deal with someone who rages in games in your friend group?

I have this one online friend who I've known for about 3 years and over the course of the handful of games we've played it feels like he is constantly raging. He has never actually raged at me, but he'd always **** talk the enemy, the randoms in our team, and sometimes even our other friends. It wouldn't be that bad if he just kept what he says in our voice chat, but he feels the need to physically type all the rage in game and it's so annoying because he always thinks he's 100% right. I try to stray away from playing with him, but it's unavoidable sometimes with our friend group. In generally he is a good, nice person, but in games he's like completely different. I don't even know how to talk to him about it because seeing him in that state so often made me kind of afraid? I want to bring it up to him sometime the next time it happens, but I don't know what and if it'll even help.

^ Exactly what Bowie stated. You should talk it out! Remember that you guys are homies, keep it real ya feel?

Yeah, tell 'em.

My ex was like that, constantly raging whenever playing just about any game. It was just between us usually, but on a Skype call nonetheless, and trust me it does get annoying when you're just sitting here doing your stuff and all you hear in a call is yelling and throwing tantrums over a game. Never again.

Just tell them to stop it or you'll just stop playing games with them. Having to listen to that crap during what is supposed to be an enjoyable activity isn't nice.

I really I don't see a reason for people legitimately screaming and shouting at a game. Either 'git gud' or turn it off.

I usually just ignore it or mute them if it really bothers me. Other times I find it kind of entertaining and I'll just listen haha. But it does get tiring if that's all they're doing. I'd confront them about it if you want to continue playing with them.
