Welcome! At Pixelshift's Gear Shop, I sell peices of gear (for use in RPs) that are [currently] in two categories:

Pixelshift's Custom Gear -- Gear I came up with. Typically sold at low prices. Normal price range: 100 to 500 TBT Bells

NintenGear -- NintenGear are, of course, Nintendo gear. Normally a bit more expensive. Normal price range: 1,000 to 5,000 TBT Bells

So, you wanna sell?

Ah, you want the catalog? Sure, it's just over here...

So, you wanna buy something? Here are the currently available items in stock:

Pixelshift's Custom Gear
Pixelshifters -- Strap this baby on your arm, and use it to turn what you're aiming at into 6-inch by 6-inch cubes stored inside the Pixelshifter! Price -- 100 TBT Bells

Flashlight -- In an RP that often takes place at night? Buy this, you'll never regret it! Comes with double-A InfiniBattery, which never runs out. Price -- 300 TBT Bells

NintenGear
Poltergust 3000 -- In an RP that involves ghosts? Shine this device's flashlight on a ghost, then start reeling in that ghost, like you're... uh... fishing for paranormal ghosts? Price -- 1,000 TBT Bells

Poltergust 5000 -- Need a stronger Poltergust for the tougher ghosts in an RP you're doing? Buy this! The Poltergust 5000 has the Strobulb to stun ghosts, the Dark-Light Device to reveal invisible ghosts, and has the Power Surge, which can drain a bunch of a ghost's power. Price -- 2,000 TBT Bells

I seriously do not understand what this is

Duh! It's a shop where you can buy stuff to use in RPs. BUT! Each item's non-patented-or-whatever warranty is invalid in other forum sites (i.e. a Pixelshifter bought here can't be used in the Nintendo 3DS Community). I'm not sure how else to put it. But it should give ya an idea on my shop ;)

So you are selling imaginary items for bells or is this something else? I am so confused xD

I don't get this either.

Do we use these items in RPs? It would make a lot more sense to have an actual RP that everyone knew about. THEN they could buy "gear." No offense meant though.

*sigh* This may take a while to explain... But this is something else. Ya buy an item to use in RPs, use it for a week to see if you're satisfied. Unsatisfied? Full refund! Kinda like real life, huh? I really hope this makes sense...

Oh, yeah, I forgot: Of course you use TBT Bells to buy them! It doesn't say "[insert Bell amount here] TBT Bells" for nothing.

This overrides the rules that some people have in their RPs. This is bringing in items from out of the game to people in the game. In some cases, it would mess with the lore of the RP, and in this case, it could just break what people have. Trapped in a dungeon? Suddenly, a flashlight!

I truly do not see why this is needed.

I think what everyone is saying is what RP's are good for these gear.

Edit: Nevermind, oath2order explained it well.

can someone simply explain what RP is and how they work?

RP stands for Roleplay. It can be anything from roleplaying as animals, to warriors, to humans, etc.. You basically just make up a story and members add to it, post by post, until your literally 'roleplaying' a situation together.

Example:

User 1 posts: "*walks over to the only empty desk in the corner* Really, there's only one seat left?"
User 2 posts: "*looks over at the newcomer* Yeah, man, I mean, you did show up late.. *shrug*"
User 1 posts: "*sighs and sits down*"

You basically just create a character and create a story with a bunch of other members. It's really fun if you love to write. There are tons of boards online that have been created solely for RP-ing.

Hope I helped-
