Pikmin 3: Should I keep playing?

Hi, I need some help deciding if I should keep playing this game or not. Thank you for your help. Also *SPOILERS for early game*

I got this game yesterday, and I loved it at first, but I'm really bad at defeating the enemies. I lose a lot of Pikmin and I feel bad about it. (Yes, I know it's a game, they're just so cute ;-; ) I'm on day five I think, the level with the big worm like thing. I lost all but four of my Pikmin, and I decided to quit. But then today I find myself wanting to play it again. I'm not sure what I should do.

Also, if I do play again, how do I beat the worm? Thanks.

Are you talking about the worm boss in the Garden of Hope?

If so, then I suggest you stock up on Rock Pikmin. You see the glass-like things that protect the worm? Only Rock Pikmin can destroy that, then once that's destroyed any Pikmin should be able to destroy underneath the glass-like thing that protects him.

The little circle things that give you more Pikmin when brought back to the Onion do eventually respawn, so don't think that you're out of luck when you run low on Pikmin. If you're low, just go to a level and the circle things may have respawned.

Also Pikmin 3 is a great game, I started over a couple times on different users on my Wii U and on one of my users I got all the fruit on my run through.

Thank you for the help! Yes that's the boss I'm talking about. How do I get more rock Pikmin? I use the circle things, but they give me red Pikmin.

Oh, you actually have to use Rock Pikmin to get them. Using a red one while getting a different colored circle (or any other color getting a different one) gives you the color you used to get it.

You could also try going into the cave where you got the Rock Pikmin at first, and see if you can get any in there.

If you really do find yourself stuck you could always start over! but never give up <3

Pikmin 3 was my first pikmin game and I love it. (Not that i've finished it =p I forgot where I left off)
And yes, follow all of Mario3DWorld777's advice <3 If you need more help in the future don't hesitate to ask!

Also, make sure in the worm's room that you retreat to a little hidey hole place when he starts snapping his pincers and charges at you. He can't get into the hole and you will have a free shot at throwing pikmin at him!

That's great I have restarted once, because it took me days to kill him and he ate tons of my pikmin. I finished the entire game with all the fruit! Just remember: If an animal eats your pikmin, you must kill it violently to avenge your pikmin XP
