Pete & His mail schedule

So i was talking to copper and he said that Pete only makes his rounds on weekdays, does that mean he doesnt deliver on the weekend?

Mail is delivered 7 days a week and he seems to be the only mail deliverer. I think what that means is that Pete will only be walking around your town for you to talk to during weekdays.
