Yeah a couple days ago I got Audie in my campsite and it was my first camper since the forced villager

For random campsite villagers, slightly different process. During the initial visit, they will play a card game with you. After, you can ask them to move in. Note that if you're full, which you are, they will pick a RANDOM villager that they will negotiate to replace. This is where it gets dicey as you want to exit your game before it saves so that you can reroll that random selection. That's if you care whether any of your existing 10 will be replaced or if you're after a specific villager to be replaced.

I’ve already played 2 games with him and still haven’t been able to ask him to move in? I won both games
Update: I talked to him and he wanted Hamphrey to leave. I’ve grown fond of him so I reset and after much negotiating Apple will move.

i was cycling a villager out today and in the process ive seen 5 campsite villagers, they definitely changed something

Wow, everyone seems to have camper issues! I have had 3 campers in my villager so far after the sixth one.

I feel i might be very lucky, since I’ve got 4 campers after the first mandatory one. Like, once a week... that’s even before the upgrade... 3 of them are before the update and I got one (Fang!!!) after the update. i dont tt or use amiibos, all of them are random campers that come by themselves.
