when i talked to isabelle about citizen satisfaction, she said the town felt barren overall and needed more pwps. so i built some, and then she said that it needed more greenery. so i planted some trees, and then talked to her again a few days later, and she said the town needed more public work projects. ever since then, it's been an endless cycle. any advice?

Build pwps that positively affect your town's rating like the flower clock, fountain, solar panel, wind turbine, windmill, flower arch or any of the topiaries. Avoid pwps like the oil rig, illumated tree, illuminated heart, lcd screens or picnic blanket. Also be sure that your town has enough flowers. For additional greenery, you can plant shrubs and bamboo (too many trees will negatively affect your town rating).

In addition to that, enact the beautiful town ordinance and make sure there are no weeds or items on the ground. Items underground don't affect your rating at all, so don't worry about fossils or gyroids.

I would plant more flowers. Like, just cover your town in as many flowers as you can. Some PWPs count against your score, like the aforementioned ones as well as some like the garbage can so keep that in mind when building them. I'd keep going until she tells you something else is wrong. I feel like you were short on both plants and pwps and she suggested the thing you had least of at the time you asked and when you added one thing, the other thing became the thing you were most short on.

Plant lots and lots of flowers. The villagers love that.

Just go to the island a few times and stuff your storage with flowers and get planting!

I don't have a lot of PWPs but I've had perfect town status for a while now.

I guess I would just keep building if I were you, or at least plant more flowers and stuff. When I got perfect town status it was mostly because I was trying to breed lots of hybrids so I guess I had enough flowers and trees to get there. If you're looking to keep your town mostly the same I would definitely recommend just doing some landscaping, that way you can cut down or dig up whatever you don't like later on and you don't have to deal with dirt patches from knocking down PWPs (my biggest pet peeve lol). Good luck!! :)
