Really... I have planted many perfect cherries and apples and none of them grew into perfect trees! I was under the impression that only your town fruit grew perfect

Yep, my native is apples but I have perfect cherry trees too

Yes, if you plant other perfect fruit it will grow into normal fruit trees.
