Perfect Island: The Tarantula Method

I don't know if anyone else has done this so sorry if this is old news. I have been hoarding my tarantulas like a maniac waiting for Flick to show up. I have about 150 saved up. I was running out of inventory space so I decided to store them outside on my island. I stuffed them EVERYWHERE. They were on the beach, up on the cliffs, crowding the front yards of villagers... it was obscene, haha! Well, apparently that is a legit way to get a five-star ranking, and the dialogue for that happening is hilarious. See screenshots below:

I've dumped over 40 peac0ck butterflies outside, and Isabelle stopped asking me to decorate the town. This means after Flick comes, I'll be back to the decoration dilemma. :/

TBH it can work with furniture too. And any kind of bug or fish - they don't have to be high value. Apparently the secret is to dump as much stuff all over your island as possible, as long as it's not what she considers clutter (tools, fossils, recipe cards, and other things that are not used to decorate.)

As far as I could tell, Flick only starts visiting once you have Able Sisters (or Town Hall), and can only visit 1x a week, and only if CJ hasn't visited that same week. He also wonders the town, so if you're not actively hunting down visitors, you may miss him.

Jacob's Ladders spawn. And that's about it. 5-star rating is more of a completionist thing. Same as completing the museum.

I have 4 stars atm and I have tarrantulas stored in a corner of my island. I’m hoping it won’t affect my stars once I sell of them off because I’ve been planting so many flowers that I feel like that should have more weight than compared to the amount of furniture on my island.

Blathers never steps outside of the museum because of all of those tarantula cages. All of those eyes look at him and make him quiver in fear.

Yup, same here! I'm pretty certain I've had both Flick and CJ in the same week.

Although, I should add uhh... I have a weird work schedule so what I consider the "week" and what AC considers the "week" might be very different. LOL

The crazy thing is I just finally got a 5 star rating and the dialogue is exactly the same as the one posted above. It just makes so much more sense in the context of tarantulas?? Looool
