Perfect Fruit question

Hi All, just a quick question. Am I right in saying only certain fruits can be perfect fruits, and the only fruit that can grow as perfect fruit in your town is your native fruit yeah......so what if your native fruit isn't one of the fruits that can become perfect fruit ? Your town just can't grow perfect fruit or am I missing summat ?

All native fruits can be perfect fruits... Apples, pears, peaches, oranges and cherries all have perfect counterparts. Any other fruit isn't a native fruit.
