Perfect fruit question

So I planted some perfect apples the other day from my boyfriends town and when they finally finished growing and produced they were regular apples. I'm curious as to why that happened since I planted perfect fruit I thought I would then get perfect fruit on my trees.

You can only plant perfect fruit from your native fruit unfortunately.

Unfortunately you can only grow perfect local fruit. Bummed me out too, when I found that out.

If apples aren't your native fruit, then planting perfect apples will result in normal fruit trees. Same goes for any other perfect fruit that aren't your native fruit.

So since peaches are my native fruit then my friend that has peaches I can get some from her and they will be perfect?

Yes, that will work

You have to have perfect peaches to grow perfect fruit trees. They will appear once in awhile in your regular peach trees.

It will work as long as they are already perfect. ^^
