The government thinks that since we have money, and they don't they can just give our money to themselves. Without taxes, more than likely, gas would be cheaper, going to school (private schools, homeschools, etc) would be easier as well. Taxes make things harder, not easier. And if the government hadn't decided to waste their money on crap, then they would be able to pay for things without our money. It's our money, we worked for it, the government didn't, DOESN'T work for it.
