Paying for art of my mayor

Yes, it's another fanart thread for my character, Kaylee. You can find her in the spoiler of my sig.

Ever since I saw this one adorable art style from one of the artists, I wanted my character drawn, but I was denied (even when I used the order form). I never got my character drawn from the freebies, but the artist will re-open her shop with that style, but I doubt that it will be open before March. I don't care if I have to pay. Would I rather have a free sketch of Kaylee in the spring or summer when the winter outfit is out of season, or would I rather pay lots before February 25th? I would rather go with paying a lot to get it done early.

Normally, I would pay 200 TBT, but I'm going hardball this time. I'll pay 500 TBT to anyone who draws my character in a good style.

The reason why I didn't post my character's pic was because a lot of you already know what she looks like. To those who never seen her, here's the pic:

And you don't have to show me your style in order to draw, but I'm paying for the best style.

But my sig isn't lying. If nobody wants to draw my character before that deadline, there's no reason for me to stay on TBT. I want to stay in-season, and I hate being rejected or ignored when I ask for a request, even when I'm going to pay lots of TBT.

I'm gonna remove that "show me your art style before I confirm" from my sig. The only reason why I said that is because I only saw drawings of Kaylee that either looked horrible or were good looking, but not the best I seen of any art style.

This is the last thing that makes me want to draw any requests for you, to be honest. Acting like you're entitled to get something you want because someone else may have been fortunate enough to get something is the wrong way to go about this. You're all but making a threat to leave because you didn't get art of your character. AND putting a deadline on it! That's an awfully childish approach. And 500TBT is honestly not a lot, especially when you're looking for only the best styles.

I've seen you buy pixels and things from people, so it's not as though you have nothing from anyone. And you're really making them sound like they're not worth anything.

Actually, the pixels mean a lot to me. I'm talking about sketches. I only seen two bad sketches, and that's just about it.

Just a friendly piece of advice~

Also, as a newbie artist myself I would feel offended reading that and steer away from possibly drawing your mayor for free even >.< so, again friendly piece of advice, take your approach differently and maybe you'll get better results!

Because I personally go around and randomly pick mayors to draw but good luck!

You see, I wasn't always like this on this site. There was some problem I had earlier this month, and I'm feeling grief from that. That's why I'm like this now.

Just take it easy broski, fair do's that you want art of your Mayor but don't make it seem like people have to put effort into offering art for quick cash if you don't sound like you're gonna appreciate their efforts.

This kind of attitude is not going to get you very far. "Looked horrible"? "Bad sketches"? That's how you said thanks to the people that DID draw her for you? I feel really bad for those people. It's one thing if you only want to pay for art styles that you do like, but to put it that way is just really rude to those who have already drawn for you. And it doesn't sound appreciative of their efforts for you at all.

I have appreciated (and will appreciate) the drawings of my character, pixel or not. But if you're going to argue with me over my behavior, then don't post.

Anyway, just a few details about my character, she is sweet and cute, and I am very appreciative if you draw her.
