Pattern making help for sidewalks

Hi all,

I have Animal Crossing New Leaf for 3DS.
I'm wanting some resources for pattern ideas for sidewalks.
I don't have the time or the focus sometimes to create a pattern from scratch.
If I had some inspiration. Or could glean from other ideas then I might try my own.
I have seen some people use a QR code reader when they present their design.
But I don't know how that would work with the 3DS.

In ACNL if you talk to Sable in the Able sisters, she's the one at the sewing machine for I think it's like 8 days, she will offer you use of her QR Machine which reads codes, that's how you get them into the game, if you're looking to make them yourself how you go about doing that is up to how you want it to look, there are lot of different kinds that people use, but the ones I like the best are the multi-wide ones, where you have four "sides" with borders and you can make corners for the turns in your sidewalk or to cap it off. There are a lot of different guides for simple and complex paths here's one I found with a quick google search.
