Paths getting stuck under bridges

I'm not sure if this is all paths or just custom paths, but when I accidentally place them at the corner of bridges (almost underneath where the side of the bridge meets the riverbank), they then can't be removed.

Is this a known issue, or is it a non-issue with a simple solution that I'm missing?

It's not a massive problem for me, as I quickly quit and reloaded the game before it saved once I realised I had an immovable path where I didn't want it, but it seems odd that it's not been patched out of the game already.

This happened to me with some cc. I kept trying everyday for weeks and eventually I got it, that was a big day for me.

I'm always able to remove them with Y. Sometimes it takes a few tries but I've never had any get stuck.

You were able to remove the path, you mean?

Hmmm...maybe it's just me, then.

I tried maybe half a dozen times to remove the path, including from the exact spot I placed it down from, but it wasn't shifting.

Rather than risk a save which left it there forever, I quit the game. Perhaps if I'd have tried from different angles, I'd have got it eventually, then?

yes, OP. try to find the right angle. i wish i could link you a video i saw, but i never bookmarked it. a lot of people had a problem with this, but you don't have to remove the bridge to remove a path. you just have to find the right angle.

I totally understand the struggle, haha. Have you tried to remove it using the construction tool with the custom design pathway picked? I find using that to be a lot easier than just trying to kick it away.

Yeah, that's what I was trying, but it wasn't shifting.

as I say, I ended up quitting in a panic to avoid having it stuck there forever!

It seems I could have removed it eventually if I'd tried a bit longer.

It can easily be removed.
Just try different angles and Y it.

I like that the paths can get that close.

Yeah that makes sense! Luckily you found the quickest way to solve the problem by quitting before the save! 😄 I wouldn't have thought of it fast enough

Update:

So after all the feedback on here, I thought I'd test this out just to be sure.

I waited for the autosave, placed a custom path tile down under the corner of a vertical bridge...and easily removed it.

Then I did the same under the corner of a horizontal bridge...and it wouldn't budge! I tried from every angle possible; tried both A and Y; repeatedly mashed Y to try and get rid of that tile, but it was not budging.

Weird.

Placing and removing paths under bridges is really difficult. It's easier to place than to wipe away so try placing the same path down.

It's a little weird but it helps me if I find a spot where I can place a path on the tile before the one I remove and shift my character towards the tile under the bridge and keep trying to remove the path under the bridge. It keeps me from getting too annoyed when I try go up to the spot directly.

I remember someone posting something similar about some patterns being stuck underneath a villager's house. I don't know if that's ever been resolved, but your bridge problem reminded me of that and I'm wondering if it's the same thing.
