I just cleared this game! Has anyone else here played it before? Sony released it on the PS1 back in 1996 in Japan and 1997 elsewhere. However, there was a PSP re-release done in 2006 and 2007 and then one on the PS4 for this year to mark the tenth and twentieth anniversaries of the game's release, respectively. The one I had was the remastered version for the PS4 and let me say, it's like Guitar Hero, but from the '90s! Truly a cutting-edge game, and with its art style, it makes you wonder, did Nintendo rip this off for Paper Mario?

I remember enjoying it slightly, I don't think I got that far though(up to the moose in the car maybe)? Who knows.

I was never able to get very far in the game myself since I could never line the buttons up right. I still can't today for some reason @v@

My dad always got stuck on stage 5 while I couldn't even get passed the first one. I know my uncle was able to beat the first one and the direct sequel!!

Completed PaRappa the Rapper, UmJammer Lammy and PaRappa the Rapper 2, but I haven't done cool mode for all the stages yet. PaRappa 2 gives feedback on your timing, but is way too easy, even when playing on the hidden fifth difficulty level.

Just realised you're playing the PS4 version. They made it easier. Go PS1 or go home.

By the way, let me know via a private message if you need help obtaining any PaRappa games, albums, anime etc. For free, if you catch my drift.
