Selling Original ROSIE for sale or trade

Rosie is up for TRADE or SALE!
She is currently my most recent villager, so to get her to move, I'm seeking another villager to be my most recent; that's why I'm more inclined to trade than to sell atm!
I've barely interacted with her at all, so I'm fairly sure nothing has changed about her and she's still pretty much original.

gonna post this here and ask for advice if you all have any?? I am on hour five of tt'ing 2 days forward and then back, finding the villager who's moving, and hoping it's Rosie....... And it never is. It's been absolutely everyone BUT rosie.

Am I missing something???? Tbh I'm about 30 seconds away from ripping my hair out

Oh, you have to have the person who is buying her pick her up! They have to talk to her, you can't get her to move! (Is she in boxes?) If so, then all you have to do is invite whoever is buying her over!

ive been trying to get her into boxes since I started the thread, but I just won't work :/
I have legitimately moved out 3 other villagers today and brought in 2 others with the campsite (all using the method I mentioned above), but for whatever reason Rosie is completely stuck and will not leave my town

Is she the 10th villager? You will very likely need to get somebody else to move out first. The most recent move in very very rarely ever asks to move

Some villagers do become stuck though. Mine is Zucker right now. I don't want him to move but he's never actually asked anyway. If she's not the most recent villager you should be able to do it but it could take a while. I have done it before with stuck villagers but it's taken about 5 hours of tting continuous

It can take a while to get your latest villager to move out. They have to get to know you a little better. Usually it's not that bad, but I did have a situation once when I TT'd 5 days forward every time somebody asked to move and it took TWO YEARS of that before Tutu left, I kid you not. And when she did leave it wasn't until I picked up somebody else, and she was no longer the newest.
