Orginal Patent for AC amiibo cards surfaces

So, a patent has shown up for amiibo based cards, it was discovered to be a bit old and with the dice and hand symbols, it matches up with the Happy Home Designer amiibo cards

Pretty nifty to see the origins of an idea, but the art on the cards are so funny, Beth for life, yo.

It's not an original patent for the amiibo cards, it's an entirely new patent. The patent is for a set of trading cards that uses NFC technology, and a section of the patent specifically reads "The trading cards refer to cards on which variously different pictures are depicted and a purpose thereof is collection and exchanged. Namely, the trading cards are cards manufactured and sold aiming at exchange or collection of pictures on each surface thereof.". The patent was filed in November 2017, so it's certainly not for the Animal Crossing amiibo cards. You can see for yourself here
