Orchard planning/ tree placement ideas

This is the area of my future orchard! I'm wondering what spaces could I fill with trees in an arrangement where none of them die The regular "X's" are all dig-able spots while the red "X's" are either the end of a cliff or the river.

I'm not sure how many would die, but you could do a path down the center (vertically) and then do a few horizontal paths, maybe every 2 or 3 rows? would be cute to walk through. Up to you!
