Hey there! I'm new to this trading business and I recently restarted my town. I am looking for Marshall and also have Bill, but I'm unsure of how to make him pack up and move. Is there any way you can explain to me so that I can take Marshall and you can take Bill? Thanks!

He's like 10 to 35 million bells I think? Though the Marshal I have isn't original so probably less than 20 million

You just have to pretty much get him in boxes forvthat to work. So Time Traveling ahead of time is a good way to get him in boxes. Though be careful not to get your other villagers to move. Then we can trade once Bill is in boxes, well if there's time cause I need him out soon... so offers are still up

Yea just don't talk to Bill at all and talk to your other villagers occasionally. Sometimes they tell you who's planning on moving next

You can come to my town and confirm that he's here and everything as I try to get him to move out... Also is there a way to do the plot reset trick with a villager that you get from another town? Sorry for all these questions, I'm new to all of this but I really want to get Marshal!

I'd let you take him, but he's not in my town... he's in my girlfriend's town so she'd want to make sure that Bill is in boxes
Okay! I will continue to work on getting him to pack up. Is there any way she can save him for me? ;-; I desperately want him in my town!! What time frames work best for her to do this trade? I'm in the Pacific time zone so it is currently 2:15PM for me.

Yes of course! She'll be holding him for you until you're ready so don't worry and for her right now it's Central time so it's 4:49. She'll be ready whenever you're ready! :3
