Opening / closing threads

Hii I'm just wondering how to close a thread without posting a reply, and how to open a thread by yourself?

At the top of the thread click on administrative and then close thread, and I think it's the same for open thread.

i believe that another way to close a thread without posting is when you're looking at the list of threads in a subform and you see that envelope on the left of each thread title, you can double click? that envelope and it should lock your thread. i'm assuming you can also do that to reopen it, but i've only ever had to close a thread.

It's also important to remember that the ability to close threads isn't available on all sections of the forum.
